Choice to complement your life
The main difference between a Hybrid and Battery-Electric vehicle is how each is powered; a Hybrid switches seamlessly between two power sources, an efficient petrol engine and a self-charging Hybrid battery, whereas a Battery-Electric vehicle runs on battery power alone.
Because Toyota Hybrids use self-charging technology, they offer many of the benefits of electric power – such as emission-free driving in the city – without needing to be plugged in. Pure electric vehicles on the other hand, use zero fuel and produce zero emissions, but will need to be plugged into an external power source when their battery runs low.
